Sternwheeler graveyard

A number of Yukon River sternwheelers were hauled out of the river just downstream of Dawson City when their services were no longer needed. They've been decaying there ever since. The graveyard is accessible by trail from the Yukon River Campground.

There were a number of large animal prints in the beach sand; if it weren't for the large number of very hungry mosquitos, we would have had time to enjoy the prints a lot more!
