The road to Eagle is about 1.5 lanes wide, is constructed of gravel, and has no barriers to keep you from driving right over the edge and into very deep canyons and ravines. Motorhomes are discouraged (although Holland America Tours runs gigantic tourbuses, and fuel trucks regularly make runs to Eagle). Note the huge RV parked in this lot; it was still there the next day.
