Lorraine, Sarah, and Joe read one of the plaques that describe Dredge No. 4. That's our vehicle in the center of the shot; the visitor's center is the structure behind the truck.Just over the truck, you can see a hillside that is being mined. Bulldozers and loaders were moving gravel into a large portable sluice.
